sociology

I believe that it is the states duty to be involved in what is taught to the youth. i believe this because if we don't people might get the wrong point across and just cause confusion and anger. if the state steps in at an early age and helps shape moral standards it will help bring and keep civil tranquility because we really do not have any concrete moral standards. if the state does not intervene then there is that wild card parent who won't teach their child the diff Adelesance
difference between right and wrong. if that child influences others and his or her children, then wouldn't this just bring forth social chaos? i think so. need to know the history of man kind, our past mistakes. if there is no state intervention anything can be aught. in the movie "The Village" where a bunch of village elders decide that they are going to make a decision to not introduce their youth from birth to the outside world and teach them only what they feel should be taught to them. this creates a society completely different than the rest of the world and thus brings us back in our sociological advancements. so on these biases i believe that the state should be involved in what is taught to the youth and whats taught at home.

  1. What if the state wants to teach something that is in oppostion to scripture? What if the state decides that parents cannot teach their children to believe in God? 19/25
